A charming vintage Canadian advertising tin for Norvalli’s “Acadon” pain tablets, produced by The Dr. Norvall Medical Company of Peterborough, Ontario. This small metal pocket tin once contained 12 tablets intended to relieve headaches, colds, neuralgia, and rheumatic pain.
The soft blush pink and black Art-Deco style design gives the tin wonderful display appeal and makes it a great addition to a vintage pharmacy, medical, or advertising collection. The reverse still shows the original dosage instructions referencing acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin).
A lovely piece of early Canadian pharmaceutical history and a perfect small collectible for a desk, curiosity cabinet, or apothecary display.
