A striking piece of Canadian military heritage. This vitrified porcelain bowl was produced by Syracuse China in 1973 for use in Canadian Armed Forces officers’ messes during the early unification era.
It features the gold CAF unified crest — crossed sword, eagle, and anchor under the Crown — representing the Army, Air Force, and Navy brought together under one service in 1968. A matching gold rim band completes the clean, elegant design used in formal dining across Canadian military bases.
Built from heavy vitrified porcelain, this bowl has the classic weight, durability, and understated refinement of government-issued mess tableware.
