A little postcard from the Alps.
This charming vintage oil painting was purchased in Italy and depicts a serene Alpine scene - a lilac-hued mountain in the distance, a rustic chalet tucked into a green hillside, and a small figure in a red cap herding sheep along a winding country path. Painted with wonderful thick impasto texture and a soft, muted palette of sage, lavender, moss green and cream.
Perfect for a gallery wall, bookshelf, mantel, or layered on a small easel as pictured. The small scale makes it such a collectible little treasure.
