A rare pair of early French boudoir perfume bottles, circa 1920s.
Hand-blown clear glass with original paddle stoppers and elaborate fired-on gold gilt scrollwork - scrolling acanthus, paisley and fine botanical filigree. The warm, soft antique gold and heavy glass base are hallmarks of early French vanity glass, far superior to later Hollywood Regency reproductions.
Sourced in France.
Offered individually - two available. Each bottle is slightly unique in gilt placement, as expected with hand-decorated antique glass.
