Original 1930s porcelain enamel lollipop price sign - 9¢ per pound.
Cobalt blue disc with white lettering on original metal spike. Used on a butcher / produce counter to mark price per pound. Heavy enamel on steel with age-appropriate edge chip and surface wear.
Provenance: From Diacur's Grocery and Meats, Grimsby Beach, Ontario. Salvaged before the shop burned in 1947.
A great little piece of Ontario cottage country history. Perfect for a kitchen display, antique market stall, or pinned into a collection.
