The one you don’t see every day.
This is an early Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd. Toronto folding pocket camera, circa 1903–1908, from the era when Kodak was marking cameras “Pat Applied For.” The deep red bellows alone makes it a standout — most were black. Add the Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. lens and polished nickel + brass hardware, and you’ve got a true showpiece.
This is likely a No. 3 or No. 3A Folding Pocket Kodak, made right here in Toronto. The wooden bed, “Automatic” shutter dial, and brilliant waist-level finder all show beautifully. The contrast of the oxblood bellows against the black leather case and warm wood bed is pure design gold.
