Authentic 1930s Dutch shop counter tin for Van Nelle, Rotterdam.
The iconic large grocer's storage tin designed by Jac. Jongert - bold 3D block lettering "KOFFIE VAN NELLE'S THEE" in cream / black shadow on that perfect faded turquoise ground.
This is the big counter size from 1930-1935, not the small kitchen version. A true piece of Dutch advertising history. Beautifully worn with just the right brocante patina.
