This Antique Standing Rabbit Chocolate Mold is part of an Estate Collection sourced and picked by Blackbird Vintage Finds.
The first chocolate molds showed up in France in the 1830s made from stamped sheet copper and typically measured less than inch in diameter, producing simple geometric shapes for mass-market candy production. These Vintage and Antique Molds have been used by Chocolatiers to make hollow and solid Chocolate Bunnies for Easter for years. They are highly collectible today.
