This is an antique late Victorian / Edwardian piece, circa 1890-1910, in its original deep, carved gilt wood frame with gold slip. The watercolour artwork is under glass with that soft, misty palette that moonlight paintings are loved for. The style is very much in the manner of the Pether moonlight school.
