Antique French Palais Royal Pocket Watch Vitrine, circa 1890s.
Made in France to display a single pocket watch — thick beveled glass panels in scalloped gilt brass (ormolu) with beaded handle, scroll feet, and original tufted pink silk interior with center hook and button to cradle your watch.
A true collector's piece from the Grand Tour era, when these little glass caskets were sold to travelers to show off their timepiece.
