Late 19th century Scandinavian pine cricket stool in layered milk paint — faded barn red over mustard ochre and stone grey, with heavy alligatoring and bare wood wear where it was actually used.
Rectangular top with rounded corners, triangular thumb-hole handle, double-scallop apron and splayed legs with wedged through-tenons visible on top. Sturdy, stable, and full of character.
Perfect as a hearth stool, plant riser, low side table, or stacked under a console.
