A beautiful late 19th century French brass monocular microscope, circa 1890s.

Featuring its original lacquered brass barrel, draw-tube eyepiece, side fine-focus wheel, and black stage with slide clips, all mounted on the iconic green-painted cast iron horseshoe base. Tilting arm with adjustable mirror underneath — made for natural light before electricity.

Perfect as a display piece for a cabinet of curiosities, library shelf, or apothecary styling. Functional, with lovely patina and paint wear consistent with age.

Measures approx. 8.5" H x 3.5" W. Unmarked, French manufacture in the style of Hartnack & Prazmowski, Paris.

Good antique condition - brass with age spotting and verdigris to green paint as shown. Mirror intact. Sold as a collectible display piece.
