A darling little piece of vanity history.
This antique Art Nouveau footed jewelry casket is all romance — domed hinged lid with raised daffodil blooms, sinuous scrolling, and four little scrolled feet. The silver plate has developed a beautiful soft, dark patina that highlights every petal and swirl. We’ve left it unpolished, as found.
Perfect on a dresser for rings and earrings, or styled on a shelf with your other vanity treasures. The interior is open for a tiny keepsake or two.
Circa 1900-1910s. Silver-plated over pewter / white metal construction.
Unmarked, as found. No maker's stamp visible on base - typical of these early silver-plated vanity boxes.
Measures: 3”w x 1-3/4”d x 2”h
