A rare, maker-marked piece of American luggage history.
This antique salesman sample wardrobe trunk was made in the United States by ASF B I Co, circa 1910s-1920s. The maker’s mark is clearly stamped on the original brass latches — a detail collectors hunt for and rarely find intact.
Originally used by traveling salesmen to showcase miniature luggage lines, or as the ultimate doll wardrobe for a child, this trunk is a perfect example of early 20th-century American craftsmanship.
