A beautifully sculptural late 19th-century cast iron coffee grinder by Enterprise Manufacturing Company.
Designed as a countertop mercantile model, this grinder would have sat on a grocer’s counter or farmhouse worktable, freshly grinding coffee beans for customers. The elegant curved waist, domed lid, and substantial cast iron construction give it strong visual presence.
The original wooden base remains intact, along with the front grounds drawer and hand crank with turned wooden handle — details often lost over time.
A wonderful piece of early North American general store history.
