Lovely Hotelware Vitrified China Double Egg Cup from The Queen's Hotel in Montreal. It's in excellent condition, and looks to be unused. Made in the Ridgway Pottery in England in the 1950s. Fantastic piece of Montreal history for collectors!
The Queen’s Hotel, with its red sandstone façade, was once an imposing presence at St-Jacques and Peel Sts. Built in the 1890s, it was said to be one of the most magnificent examples of 19th-century architecture in the city. It was demolished in 1988.
