The Quick-Cooker". Grimwade's patent No. 12835/09. A fabulous 19th century device designed to make the perfect pudding with no cloth required!
This Grimwade’s Quick-Cooker was manufactured in England more that 100 years ago. It was a modern way to cook stews and puddings on top of the stove in pan of boiling water. The transferware lettering is a sage green color and it is easily read. The lids nestles nicely on top of the cooker. It has lengthy cooking instructions inside the bowl and on both the top and bottom of the lid.
In excellent condition with no chips or cracks!
